Frequently Asked Questions How far will we ride each day? The distances will vary from day to day with a minimum of 75 miles and a maximum of 350. Each day will be broken up with drink/lunch breaks and most will include a few hours to visit places of interest. I have never ridden a supermoto bike before, is it difficult? The bikes are light and agile, and do require a slightly different riding style, but it is easy to adapt to and great fun!! What documents should I bring? Passport. Driving licence(both parts if you have a new style licence). Personal travel insurance which covers motorcycling and repatriation if necessary. E111 in case of need of general emergency medical treatment. How many days riding are there? There are 5 full days riding, and a short acclimatisation ride (around 20 miles) on the day of arrival. I have not ridden abroad before, what do I need to know? Before setting out you will be given a briefing which will cover any important points, but mainly it is common sense. What happens if I have to cancel? If you have to cancel, then, the following cancellation
fees will be charged : 50% of the tour and rental price in the case of withdrawal between 8 weeks to 4 weeks before the tour begins. 100% of the tour and rental price in the case of withdrawal within 4 weeks of the tour’s commencement or in the case of non-appearance without notification. Notification of withdrawal must be made via registered letter. The deadlines listed above refer to the organiser’s receipt of the notification of withdrawal. You are strongly advised to take out trip cancellation insurance. You can transfer the holiday to another person, as long as s/he fulfils all the prerequisites for participation and the organiser is notified of the transfer within 1 month before the tour departs. There will be a £25 transfer fee in this event. The transferor and the new participant are jointly and severally liable for the unpaid fees as well as for any additional costs arising from the transfer.
